Quick facts: born to saints, Louis and Zelie Martin, Therese was the youngest of 5 living children. She said she would spend her time in Heaven doing good on Earth. Quick facts: After a long and unfruitful time in the convent, Teresa fell ill and returned to prayer. While in prayer, God gave her many spiritual graces, full of union and glory. She helped to reform the Carmelite order, going back to chastity, poverty and obedience. She wrote the Way of Perfection and Interior Castle.
